| Lowland malts are often soft, smooth and light fruity. Glenkinchie however is known for being the driest and most smoked of all Lowland malts. Because of this soft and dry mouth feel it’s often taken as an alternative to sherry as aperitif. It’s soft in the nose with a pure aroma and lightly coloured. The flavours are very pleasant. |
