We are getting more fans every day it seems. Of course we are very proud of that but this really forces us grow a little. Right now we brew about 1200 hectolitre per year and we aim for a growth to about 4500 hectolitre. So compared to large breweries we will keep being a tiny craft brewer.
Thursday November the 11th, in the Netherlands known as 'crazy day', we signed a contract for a 25 hectolitre brewing system. A big growth compared to our current 5 hectolitre kettles. We're so excited but hopefully people won't say it was crazy afterwards. We just follow our dream end keep having fun.We selected the new brewery with many criteria. The most important are quality, environment friendly and efficient. A modern brewery like the one we ordered re-uses warmth, does not smell and cuts water consumption. Because we will also install the brewery in 1 new building it will save us a lot of time on logistics. So we can brew more beer with the same crew.
The new building is just across the street so the connection to the mill will remain physically and emotionally. The restaurant and beer shop will remain in the beautiful and renovated mill.
