This festival was a joint organization with our friends from the breweries Alvinne and Struise from Belgium. The first day was quiet compared to the second. Among the many visitors was a large group real beer connaisseurs however.
The reactions to our Vlaams & Hollands, a Flemish Brown with 5% ABV and aged on wooden Bordeaux and Uutdetuun barrels, were amazing. Uutdetuun is our home made whiskey. Soon Vlaams & Hollands will be bottled available in our shop.
The second day was very busy. Immediately after opening a bus arrived with Italian beer lovers. This bus was soon followed by another one full of English lead by the famous Podge. Meanwhile many others flood in using the taxi service organized by the Alvinne brewers. And of course the Belgians did not stay away from all this beer. Including a bus full of Burgundian Babble Belt-ers (www.babblebelt.com).
The blend of Struis Black Albert and our own Hel & Verdoemenis was extremely popular this day. This will also be avaible in our beershops soon.
